Rethondes chandelier.  This French art deco chandelier is an original very handsome fixture with large center bowl in lovely shades of white, tan and blue.  The three drops have matching shades, and all shades are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.  All shades are clearly marked “Rethondes”.  Fixture has an attractive frame featuring dark bronze-colored leaves and scrolls.

The fixture has been refurbished and rewired to American standards.  The ceiling canopy is a double canopy which allows the use of the original decorative canopy and still cover American electrical boxes.  The condition is excellent.  There are no chips or cracks to any of the glass.  Fixture features six bulbs — 3 within the bowl and one each for the drops.  Exact age is unknown but probably made in the 1920’s through the 1940’s.  We recommend using only LED bulbs with these vintage glass shades.
